  • Typically seeded batch crystallisation experiments give data as solution supersaturation and crystal mean particle size at various times. For experiments with no nucleation, there are several ways of treating the data, involving differential and integral data techniques. These methods are compared using synthetic and real data and their accuracy compared. A new technique of fitting the time dependent data with a fourth order polynomial appears to be the best method, being simple and of good accuracy.
